Everything we thing we own is property of the UNITED STATES. Your car, for example, you bought it, you’re paying for it, you drive it around but you don’t own it. “Oh but I have the title!” You say. What you have is a Certificate of Title which merely certifies the existence of the title which is actually a document called Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO) or Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO). You’ll probably run to your safety deposit box for your gold and silver coin only to find that has been confiscated by the bank. You’ll regret not reading the fine print that says your stuff becomes theirs when you trust them with it.
